About

The mission of The Lovie Awards is to recognise the unique and resonant nature of the European Internet community across culture, technology and business. We believe that by elevating the best digital innovations from Europe, we can inspire a better internet, globally.

The Lovie Awards is the most prestigious, and the only, truly pan-European awards recognising European Internet excellence in the fields of culture, technology and business.

Launched in 2010, The Lovie Award is presented by the European arm of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS)—a 4000+ members body which also judges The Webby Awards. The Academy is comprised of —leading Internet experts, business figures, luminaries, visionaries artists, and talented entertainers and creators. Work is judged in seven native languages including; Spanish, Italian, Dutch, French, German, Swedish and English.

The Lovie Awards presents Gold, Silver and Bronze winners. The online public also vote for their favourite Finalists to take home The People’s Lovie Award in each category. Last year’s People’s Lovie received over 70,000 votes from across Europe.
