THE LOVIE AWARDS ANNOUNCES 8TH ANNUAL CALL FOR ENTRIES
Honouring the Best of the European Internet

New and expanded award categories to honour excellence in Branded Content, Virtual Reality & 360 Video, Social Video and Branded Entertainment

London, 28 February 2018 — The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS)—the presenting body of the international Webby Awards and its’ sister award The Lovie Awards—announced today the official opening of The 8th Annual Lovie Awards Call for Entries. The Lovie Awards is the only pan-European awards organisation to honour the full breadth of the European Internet including Websites, Online Advertising, Internet Video, Apps, Mobile Sites & Podcasts, and Social. The Early Entry Deadline is 20 April 2018 at lovieawards.com. Finalists are announced in September 2018 and Winners in October 2018 with a celebration in November 2018 in London.

Entrants compete not only to win a Lovie Award and The People’s Lovie Award (fan favourite), but to deliver their Declaration of Lovie Acceptance Speech and follow in the footsteps of previous years’ winners including Lifetime Achievement recipient Dr. Quentin Stafford-Fraser, Emerging Entrepreneur Livia Firth, Lovie Creator for Change Sam Saffold, Person of the Year Annie Lennox, and Agency of the Year N=5—among others.
