THE 1ST ANNUAL LOVIE AWARDS UNVEILS JUDGES AND AWARDS CELEBRATION PARTY

– The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) announces the line-up of European members to judge The Lovie Awards –

7 October, 2011, London: The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) – the industry leading organisation responsible for presenting the world-renowned Webby Awards, Internet Week New York and Internet Week Europe – today unveils the latest line- up of world class judges for The Lovie Awards, the European sister awards of the Webbys, and the details of The Lovie Award Winners celebration party.

They are the first-ever European awards to honour and celebrate the crème de la crème of Europe’s best websites, interactive advertising, online film and video, as well as mobile and apps. Entries are accepted in five different European languages, English, French, Spanish, Italian and German. The highest scoring entry from each language group will also be recognised with an award.

The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, which nominates and selects The Lovie Award Winners, comprises an outstanding line-up of European web industry experts, including startup experts Reshma Sohoni of SeedCamp, Stefan Glaentzer of Whitebear Yard, Mike Butcher of TechCrunch Europe and TechHub, Deezer founder Jonathan Benassaya and Stefano Bernardi of theStartup.eu.

The creative web is also well-represented amongst The Lovie Awards judges with leading luminaries such as Mattias Hansson of Hyper Island, Chester Chipperfield of Burberry, Nicke Bergström of Mother, the renowned musician Imogen Heap, fashion blogger Poppy Disney, Sandrine Murcia of Spring Lab, and Alexander Ljung of SoundCloud.
