CODE D’AZUR, Kolle Rebbe, Grabarz & Partner and MediaMonks among most winning agencies in Lovie Awards this year

10 October 2018: The Lovie Awards, the most prestigious pan-European honour for online excellence is announcing the 2018 winners, with German agency Jung von Matt (Hamburg) earning the coveted title of Lovie Agency of the Year. Agencies in close contention with multiple honours were CODE D’AZUR (Amsterdam), Kolle Rebbe (Hamburg), Grabarz & Partner (Hamburg) and MediaMonks (Hilversum).
With 18 awards in total—7 Gold, 6 Silver and 3 Bronze awards—as determined by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS), 2 People’s Lovie Awards voted on by the online public—as well as 11 Official Shortlist nods, Jung von Matt performed the best across all Lovie categories this year. Their winning works span Internet Video, Websites and Online Advertising with projects such as “The all-new BMW.com: The world’s fastest automotive content marketing website,” “Soft Skills Can Come The Hard Way” and “The most German supermarket,” earning multiple top honours.
All winners will be celebrated alongside this year’s Lovie Special Achievement honourees: Stormzy, Dr. Sue Black, Michael Dapaah (Big Shaq), The Bureau Local, Hans Jørgen Wiberg and Alex Bertie at The 8th Annual Lovie Awards on 15th November 2018 at BFI Southbank in London, hosted by acclaimed BBC comedian Mark Watson.
Winners of The Lovie Awards are selected by European IADAS members, a group of 500+ notable leaders in digital such as Iain Tait (Executive Creative Director, Wieden + Kennedy London), Mel Exon (CEO, The Sunshine Company), Stefan Ronge (Chief Creative Officer, Edelman Deportivo), Miriam Plon Sauer (Partner & Strategy Director, Another) and Amanda Glasgow (Creative Director, Publicis.Sapient), among others.
