ANA LIVIA JARDINE NAMED EUROPEAN MARKETING DIRECTOR AT THE LOVIE AWARDS
In her capacity as European Marketing Director, Jardine will lead the 2019 Lovie Talks Tour.
LONDON, UK (29 May 2019) – The Lovie Awards, the most prestigious honour in Europe for excellence in websites, online advertising, internet video, apps, mobile, podcasts & voice and social, today announced that Ana Livia Jardine has been named the new European Marketing Director, bringing her proven record of achievement in marketing and communications across various platforms. Her deep knowledge of the technology, advertising and creative industries is essential to creating and executing new strategies at The Lovie Awards that bring optimal growth to the company across the region.

In her role as European Marketing Director, Jardine will lead The Lovie Awards thought-leadership series, Lovie Talks, throughout Europe this summer, visiting top agencies and organisations to deliver this year’s trend. She will further expand The Lovie Awards presence throughout Europe to help fulfill the organisation’s mission to honour the very best of the European Internet.

Most recently, Ana Livia worked at Quartz London as Community Engagement & Partnership Manager. As the sole leader for the market’s publicity efforts, she created and implemented the company’s first EMEA communications strategy, in addition to securing and organising over 100 broadcast interviews for Quartz’s editorial team in the course of a year.
Before moving to London, Jardine was a Senior Publicist at ESPN in New York, overseeing strategic communications for the company’s ad sales, marketing and research groups as well as for data-driven news organisation FiveThirtyEight. During her four-year tenure, she helped promote over 50 award-winning campaigns, including the relaunch of FiveThirtyEight and its coverage of the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election, as well as the debut of dozens of commercials from ESPN’s flagship campaign “This is SportsCenter.”
In addition to fluency in English, Portuguese and Spanish, Ana Livia has four years of agency and PR firm experience, having worked at M Booth, Makovsky & Co. and 5WPR.
A native Brazilian from São Paulo, Ana Livia earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Spanish from Indiana University. She also attended the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
