Each year the best creators from all across Europe gather in London for the annual Lovie Awards celebration, honouring the very best of the European Internet.
Previously, Lovie Winners delivered a Declaration of Lovie speech, with one rule to use the word “love.” (See past speeches from Bjork, Rose and Rosie, Fonk, and Louis Pouzin.)
But like the Internet, The Lovie Awards likes to keep evolving. And also like the Internet, The Lovies sees the beauty in brevity.
Last year The Lovies introduced a new speech format, an exciting tradition we’re thrilled to continue: 7 Words of Lovie. A nod to the seven languages in which The Lovies accepts work and to our international sister The Webbys’ trademark 5-Word Speech, Lovie Winners now deliver acceptance speeches in just seven words.
