BASIC OVERVIEW:

What does it mean to be a Lovie Award Finalist?

From the thousands of entries submitted during the call for entries, our esteemed judges in the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) review each entry to select the very best. If your project has been selected as a Finalist, it means you’re eligible to win either a Bronze, Silver or Gold Lovie Award in this year’s competition. This also means you’re in the running to win a 2023 People’s Lovie Award.

What is a People’s Lovie Award?

As the European members of IADAS select the Gold, Bronze and Silver Lovie Winners, the Internet public uses their voice to select a People’s Lovie Winner from the Finalists in each category: Website & Mobile Sites, Marketing Advertising & PR, Film & Video, Apps, Platforms & Software, Web3 & XR, Podcasts, Social, and Beyond.

How do I become eligible for a People’s Lovie Award?

Great question. Once you or your organisation has been named a Finalist, you are automatically eligible to earn a Gold, Bronze or Silver Lovie in your category, as well as a People’s Lovie Award.

Where should people vote?

What makes for an impactful People’s Lovie campaign?

We’re glad you asked. See below for examples from a few past Lovie Finalists who made a splash on social and elsewhere online shouting out their finalist status.

How Are Winners Selected?

Our Jurors provide scores for entries based on the appropriate criteria for each category and eventually cast ballots to determine Shortlisted, Bronze, Silver, and Gold winners. Categories may include multiple Gold, Silver, or Bronze winners, depending on relative scoring. Academy members may not vote in any category in which they have a conflict of interest. From the public vote, there will be one People’s Lovie Winner in each category. Voting for the People’s Lovie Awards closes on Thursday, 12 October 2023.

When will Winners be Announced?

Once Judges have put their ballots in and the online public has cast their votes, Winners of the 13th Annual Lovie Awards will be announced on Thursday, 9 November 2023.
